cis-(±)-N-Boc-2-Methyl-1,4-piperidinedicarboxylic Acid is the cis isomer of N-Boc-2-Methyl-1,4-piperidinedicarboxylic Acid (B657005); a boc protected 2-Methyl-1,4-piperidinedicarboxylic Acid which is used in the preparation of indazole and pyrrolopyridine derivatives. These derivatives are useful in the treatment of Alzheimer-type dementia as 5-HT4 receptor agonists.
