通过芳胺的各种重氮溶液与 , 4-二羟基二苯甲酮的偶联制备新型媒染剂和分散偶氮染料。紫外吸收单体由, 4-二羟基二苯甲酮与丙烯酸缩水甘油酯和甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯反应合成。以为原料合成并表征了两种新型可聚合稳定剂，4-苯甲酰基--(α-哌啶基--氯苄基)--羟基苯基丙烯酸酯 (BPBHA) 和相应的甲基丙烯酸酯 (BPBHMA)。使用 , 4-二羟基二苯甲酮 (UV-0) 和甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯 (GMA) 合成了一种可聚合的紫外线稳定剂 -羟基-4-(-甲基丙烯酰氧基--羟基丙氧基) 二苯甲酮 (BPMA)。
